If the southeastern sky will allow it (clouds lurking about), from
8:00 p.m. onward, find Comet Lulin. It is easy to locate tonight (Feb
27th) if you can find the "Backward-Question-Mark" of the
constellation LEO, because, the comet is beside the fairly bright
star, Regulus, at the bottom of the "Backward-Question-Mark" . This
link to a diagram and note may help find LEO above the SE.

Find Regulus in your binoculars and you will see the fuzzy head of
the comet and perhaps its brief tail too, especially if you have a
dark sky location (and if it is clear of course). Toward midnight
LEO and the comet are even higher in the South (even better). You
won't see any green (only white) as stated in a news report. That is
only seen in time exposure photos. Keen eyed folks in a dark
location (and clear sky) can see the faing fluff of light naked-eye.

Good luck!
