Thanks to Glenn & Elizabeth McCarron (any relation to Anna??) for
this nice addition, and documented! by a photo, to the list for the
April 26 NSBS/BNS pond-hopping field trip. Glenn and Elizabeth, was
this the pond adjacent to the Cornwallis River along Middle Dyke
Road, north of Commercial Street? If so, the island has a single
Canada Goose, and perhaps a hidden second Canada Goose on a nest??

Cheers from Jim in Wolfville, and I will send you my report on the
field trip.
