Just a note from the Wellwood property in Dempsey Corner. Among the bird visitors to my pond I have had both Hooded Mergansers and Wood Ducks as well as the usual mallards and blacks. Other pond critters include muskrats, beavers and eastern painted turtles. Audrey Wellwood audwel at ns.sympatico.ca
